Carizen's primary product, Rainmail Intranet Server, has been depolyed at more than 300 locations across India, including ISRO and DRDO units. WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM?

Goal of the program is to develop a skilled Workforce in Linux/Server technologies and Rainmail Server.

WHERE WILL THE TRAINING BE?

CATIP will be held at Carizen training Labs in Chennai.

HOW LONG WILL THE TRAINING BE?

The normal training duration is for three (3) months.

WHAT ARE THE TRAINING TOPICS?

Training (both theoretical and practical) will be given in the following areas:

1. Linux Installation
2. Linux Operating System - GUI, File System, Process, Device
3. Networking - TCP/IP, Routing, Packet Filtering, DNS
4. Networking Modules
       + Email system (Qmail)
       + Proxy (Squid)
       + VPN (OpenSWAN/Adito)
       + Chat (Jabber)
       + Fax (Hylafax)
       + Web (Apache)
       + Anti Virus (Clam)
       + Collaboration (eGroupware)
       + Bandwidth Management (iptables)
       + Clustering
   
5. Rainmail Server Installation and Troubleshooting

WHAT IS THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CATIP?

+ Basic knowledge of Linux (Installation, Managing) and Networking required.
+ Communication skills in English and Native language.
+ RHCE/RHCT preferred, but not required.
+ Diploma/Graduation in relevant field.

WHAT ARE THE OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS?

+ Candidates will have to furnish a refundable deposit of Rs. 20,000/- prior to joining CATIP.
+ Selected candidates will be provided an all inclusive of stipend of Rs. 6500/- per month.
+ To and fro travel charges (by train 3AC) to the training Centre will be provided by Carizen.
+ At end of training, Carizen may offer a position to the candidate in any of its locations at Chennai/Bangalore/Delhi/Mumbai.
+ At end of training, if candidate is offered a position in Carizen, he/she is expected to take up the offer. If the offer is not taken, the deposit is forfeited.
+ If Carizen does not offer candidate a position, the deposit is refunded to Candidate.
+ If candidate withdraws in middle of training or does not follow the rules for training (attendance crietria, etc.) the deposit is forfeited.
